Battleship is the legendary naval combat game that has captivated players for generations. Our online version faithfully recreates the classic experience while adding exciting new features like random events!
Place your fleet of 5 ships on your grid: Carrier (5 cells), Battleship (4 cells), Cruiser (3 cells), Submarine (3 cells), and Destroyer (2 cells). Position them strategically - horizontal or vertical - to make them hard to find!
Then the battle begins! Take turns firing at your opponent's grid, trying to locate and sink their ships. A hit is marked red, a miss is marked white. When all cells of a ship are hit, it's sunk! Sink all 5 enemy ships to win.
What makes our version unique are the optional random events that can change the tide of battle: - KRAKEN: A sea monster attacks YOUR fleet, damaging random cells! - STORM: Lightning reveals a 3x3 area of enemy ship positions! - FOG: Obscures hit/miss results for 2 turns, adding uncertainty!
These events trigger randomly every 4-6 turns, keeping both players on their toes. You can also play classic mode without events for the traditional experience.
The game features intuitive ship placement with rotation controls, clear visual feedback for hits and misses, and a responsive design that works great on any device. Challenge a friend to a 1v1 duel and see who rules the seas!
How to Play
- 1 Place your 5 ships on the grid (drag or tap to position)
- 2 Use rotate button to switch between horizontal/vertical
- 3 Once both players are ready, battle begins
- 4 Tap enemy grid cells to fire - red = hit, white = miss
- 5 Watch out for random events (Kraken, Storm, Fog)!
- 6 Sink all 5 enemy ships to win
